Editorial Policy

This policy explains how we reach a verdict, the limits of our coverage and the standards for corrections.

Research and Review

Each guide cites the tourism-office, weather-service, operator or venue sources behind its factual claims.

  1. 1

    Research

Use official tourism offices, national weather services, transport operators and venues for factual context.

  2. 2

    Attribution

Link sources beside factual claims and distinguish verdicts and recommendations from sourced facts.

  3. 3

    Corrections

Correct identified errors and record substantive factual changes.

Sources

Sources should be linked beside the claims they support. A general methodology statement does not establish that an individual article was verified.

Primary sources

Tourism offices, national weather services, transport operators and venues

Secondary sources

Attributed reporting with specific local context

Unverified sources

Forum anecdotes and AI-generated statements are not factual evidence

Updates

There is no guaranteed review schedule. An updated date records a content edit, not a promise that every fact was rechecked.
